Original Photograph

This photograph depicts the Champs Elysees as seen from the top of the Arch de Triumph in Paris, France. This night time scene I found to be particularly beautiful due to the red, white and blue strips created by the illumination of breaklights, headlights and fairy lights in the trees. The strips of colour being very similar to those found on the French flag were here being replicated in the street.

Piece of Architecture

This is a building that caught my eye and one that I found to really stand out from the others in Hong Kong. It has an intriguing pattern that flows about the outer face of the building. The windows are tinted with a reflective soft blue which adds the the apparent fluidity of the building.

Creative Work

This is a photogram created in the likeness of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The process involved arranging simple everyday objects onto a piece of undeveloped photograhic paper in a dark room, then focusing the light from a single projector above the objects onto the paper thus exposing it, and displaying the objects as silhouettes. The photographic paper is then placed into a bath of "fixer" chemical followed by a water bath then an "exposure" chemical before being washed and dryed.
